The Ten Oaks Project is a charitable, volunteer-driven organization that engages and connects children and youth from LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirit, queer) families, identities, and communities. They offer two annual camp programs to children and youth: Camp Ten Oaks (ages 8-17) and Project Acorn (ages 16-24). They’re also in the process of developing a series of workshops for summer camp providers and those interested in learning more about kids who grow up in queer communities.
